A graduate of Tulane University (BA) and Florida State University (MSW), Polly Bauer, LCSW has spent decades serving individuals & organizations in the communities where she has lived: New Orleans, New York City, Chicago, Connecticut, and Greater Jacksonville/St. Augustine. Polly is a Scholar & Practitioner of Radically Open DBT, an evidence-based treatment addressing over-control (Hyper-perfectionism, Refractory Depression, Anxiety, Anorexia Nervosa, & traits commonly experienced w/Autism, & Obsessive Compulsive, Avoidant, & Dependent Personality Disorders). She provides comprehensive RO DBT individual therapy, skills classes, & skills support between sessions. To ensure adherence to the treatment protocol, Polly meets weekly w/her RO DBT consultation team & w/a RO DBT senior clinician for supervision. She incorporates Radically Open DBT skills (self-enquiry, flexibility, curiosity, & awareness of social signaling in line w/valued goals) into her personal & professional life to help herself and her clients respond flexibly & find peace in a chaotic, ever-changing world. Polly is a Certified, Master Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Practitioner (a brief trauma therapy) trained by Laney Rosenzweig, treatment developer. She was Foundationally Trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (2019 by Behavior Tech, a co. founded by Marsha Linehan). Melissa Tucker, LMHC (FL & WA) is also a fully-trained RO DBT Practitioner, w/extensive experience providing RO DBT to adolescents, families, and adults through individual & family therapy and RO DBT skills classes. Melissa has a proven track record of helping parents, couples, and families improve communication & interpersonal issues, and better manage family members' mental & physical conditions. Melissa is also a Certified Master Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Practitioner trained by the treatment developer. Having traveled/lived in many of the 50 states and several countries, Melissa truly enjoys meeting and working with people from diverse backgrounds. Kim LaMora, MS, RD, LDN is a Clinical Dietitian with over a decade of experience working in diverse settings (hospitals, college campuses, eating disorder treatment centers, & schools). She has a wealth of expertise working in the ICU with newborn babies, children, adolescents, and adults of all ages especially adolescents and young adults struggling with disordered eating. Polly, Melissa, & Kim passionately and firmly believe that within each of us (often buried deep) is the inner wisdom we need to envision and work towards the life we want to live...a life worth living & sharing.
